Buzek congratulates Moldovan PM Vlad Filat

European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek congratulated Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat on his recent appointment following their meeting in the European Parliament today.
President Buzek urged the new coalition to stay united and show resolve in tackling economic crisis, undertaking necessary structural reforms and further pursuing the European agenda.
EP President Jerzy Buzek stressed that while the Eastern Partnership is not an accession agreement, it could lead to an association agreement which leaves open the prospects of EU accession and underlined the need for strong EU - Moldova relations.
