American anti-missile system in Poland

On Sunday Warsaw was still in talks with the US about the possibility of allowing the American anti-missile system to be based in Poland.
Today Poland's foreign ministry officialy confirmed it received the request from the American partner. The anti-missile system should be based on the north of Poland in very much suitable Poland's army area surrounded by sea and lakes, however just 65 kilometers from the borthers with Russia.
This decision met with strong criticism from Moscow, which sees it as destabilisation of the balance of power in central Europe. Russia warned it will take unspecified measure against Poland.
The Czech government said on Saturday the US had asked permission to build a radar base on its territory which would be a part of the defence system.
The system will use rockets to shoot down hostile missiles......
